Wrexham fans can really start to get excited about the summer transfer window now, after the English Football League confirmed when the window will officially open and close for business.
Wrexham have been promoted to the Championship and with it will come an inevitably busy summer transfer window under Phil Parkinson.
Parkinson wants to sign some experienced Championship players for his side but the veteran manager has ruled out signing any superstar players for his Wrexham side.
Instead we look set to see another flurry of experienced pros arriving at the Racecourse, along with the odd youngster picked up from the bigger teams in the English football pyramid.
And now we can look forward to the summer transfer window with some official dates to lock in.

When does the summer transfer window open for clubs in the EFL?
The summer transfer window is a bit of a staggered one this season. Because of the Club World Cup, the Premier League had already confirmed their summer transfer window would open briefly at the start of June before closing for a week, then re-opening for the rest of the summer.
And the EFL is following suit. They’ve now confirmed that the summer transfer window will open on June 1st and then close again at 7pm on June 10th. Then the window will reopen again on Monday June 16th and stay open until deadline day, which is on Monday September 1st at 7pm.
The 11 players linked with Wrexham so far this summer
Wrexham have several transfer targets already this summer. And there’s some exciting names on their reported shortlist too including Jamie Vardy, and Leeds United striker duo Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt.
And the Dragons could yet raid Cardiff City for some new players following their relegation to League One. Wrexham are linked with three Cardiff City players in Callum Robinson, Ollie Tanner, and Isaak Davies.
Swansea City’s Harry Darling is also a target of Wrexham who could sign him on a free transfer this summer. Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle duo Maksym Talovierov and Ryan Hardie are also linked with moves to Wrexham.
Parkinson also has a couple of Man United centre-backs on his list in Jonny Evans and Jack Kingdon: two players at opposing ends of their respective careers but who are both becoming free agents this summer.
Last but not least, Wrexham are interested in signing Tom Lawrence who looks set to be released by Rangers.
