Wrexham return to League One action on Friday afternoon as Bristol Rovers make the trip to the STōK Cae Ras.
The next few days could prove to be absolutely pivotal in Wrexham’s push for promotion to the Championship.
Wrexham drew 0-0 at Wigan Athletic last weekend, allowing Wycombe Wanderers to pile on the pressure.
Wycombe sit just one point behind Wrexham, with the two teams now having just four games to go.
Wrexham take on Bristol Rovers on Friday and will be looking to begin the crucial Easter weekend with all three points before heading to Blackpool on Sunday.

Elliot Lee on Wrexham promotion push
The promotion race is still in Wrexham’s hands, and Wycombe’s difficult run-in will leave them needing a Wrexham slip-up or two.
Friday’s clash with Bristol Rovers certainly provides Wrexham with a great chance for victory, with the Pirates on a six-game losing streak.
Now battling against relegation, Bristol Rovers have been branded a ‘League Two’ team by their own manager, Inigo Calderon.
Wrexham star Elliot Lee has now told BBC Sport that these promotion run-ins are exactly why players get into the game.
Lee feels some of his former clubs have endured ‘boring’ run-ins to the end of the season, but he loves the adrenaline of Wrexham’s promotion pushes.
“This is why you play the game,” said Lee. “They are high-pressure games but you have to see pressure as a privilege in this line of work, and that’s what most of us do.
“I’ve been at clubs before when you play games with four games to go and there’s nothing to play for and it’s boring. I’d much rather have the nerves, the excitement, the adrenaline. We’re definitely excited about it,” he added.
Elliot Lee will hope for telling promotion impact
We have become so used to seeing Lee racking up goals and assists in promotion-winning campaigns.
Lee hit 12 goals in Wrexham’s 2022-23 campaign, including six goals in the final eight games to seal promotion.
The 30-year-old racked up 16 goals and five assists in League Two last season, again helping Wrexham secure promotion.
This season has been a little trickier with Lee only registering seven goals and three assists in League One.
Lee’s last goal contribution came at Crawley Town on February 1, and his role has been much smaller than in recent years.
Lee’s road traffic accident in February has certainly been a factor and the playmaker is still trying to find his best form.
With Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer exiled, we would love to see Lee come up with a big moment in the final weeks of the season and add another chapter to his Wrexham legacy.
