Wrexham return to Championship action against West Bromwich Albion this weekend, while Paul Mullin will hope to kick on for Wigan Athletic.
Wrexham knocked Hull City out of the Carabao Cup in midweek, producing a stunning late show to turn the game around.
Ollie Palmer made himself the hero, scoring two late headers to send the game to penalties, with Wrexham coming out on top.
Wrexham will face Preston North End in the next round, but full focus is on this weekend’s Championship clash with West Bromwich Albion.
Phil Parkinson tasted defeat on the opening day of the Championship season, as Wrexham were beaten 2-1 at Southampton.
Wrexham would love to hit back this weekend, and a first home win of the Championship campaign would go down brilliantly.

Paul Mullin set to face Wrexham hero Darren Ferguson
Elsewhere this weekend, Paul Mullin will be looking to kickstart his League One campaign with Wigan Athletic.
Mullin joined Wigan on loan this summer and has so far started two League One games from the bench.
Tuesday night saw Mullin score his first competitive Wigan goal, firing home from the penalty spot in a Carabao Cup win over Notts County.
Mullin will hope to feature from the start against Peterborough United this weekend, and he could face off against Posh boss Darren Ferguson.
Ferguson, much like Mullin himself, is a Wrexham hero from his playing days.
The Scot joined Wrexham from Sparta Rotterdam back in 1999, and racked up more than 300 appearances in the famous red shirt.
Many Wrexham fans would have Ferguson in their all-time XIs, having loved his displays during an eight-year spell at the STōK Cae Ras.
Now in charge of Peterborough for the fourth time, Ferguson will hope to get the better of Mullin and Wigan – especially as pressure mounts on his job.
Darren Ferguson enduring tough Peterborough United spell
Last season was a disappointing one for Peterborough, as they only finished 18th in the League One table.
Ferguson won just six games in the final 27 games of the Championship campaign and claimed only three points from the final seven outings.
The Scot came into this season under pressure to turn results around, and the campaign hasn’t exactly started well.
Peterborough have lost both League One outings against Cardiff City and Luton Town, as well as crashing out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Accrington Stanley.
Three defeats in a row to start the campaign is far from ideal, and Ferguson really needs a win over Wigan to ease the pressure.
Wrexham fans will be focused on the clash with West Bromwich Albion, but may just have one eye on Wigan v Peterborough as both Mullin and Ferguson look to get their seasons up and running.
