One Wrexham star has been discussing his lack of playing time under Phil Parkinson this season.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are no doubt over the moon with how their side have started the 2024/25 campaign.
While some likely expected Wrexham to struggle after making the step up to League One, that assumption could not have been further from the truth.
The Red Dragons go into the latest round of fixtures sat top of League One after winning five, drawing one and losing one of their opening seven matches.
Wrexham beat Crawley Town 2-1 last time out, with their only defeat so far coming against fellow promotion rivals, Birmingham City.
While results have been positive, a few of the Welsh side’s players may be growing frustrated with their lack of playing time.
Ryan Barnett is keeping Sebastian Revan out of the team at right-wing-back, while a few other summer additions are also struggling to make their mark at the Racecourse Ground.

Dan Scarr opens up on lack of Wrexham playing time
Along with Revan, the newly promoted outfit made a further eight signings during the 2024 summer transfer window, one of which was Dan Scarr.
Manager Wayne Rooney gave Scarr his blessing after he left Plymouth Argyle to drop down a division and play for Wrexham this season, labelling it a ‘good opportunity’.
However, it is fair to say that things have not really gone to plan for the centre-back so far this term, with Scarr still yet to feature in the league for his new club.
Now, as per Leader Live, Scarr has opened up on his lack of action in 2024/25 and while the stopper is ‘frustrated’ Phil Parkinson is not selecting him in the league, he made it clear he understands the situation and will be ready when called upon.
He said: “You are allowed to be frustrated, that is only normal, but it is frustration in a good way that you want to help the team to do well which is the main goal.
“The lads are flying so we want them to keep playing well. The lads did well last season and they have stepped up and done excellent this season so I hope they keep it going.
“We all understand the situation. I will just keep training hard and help the team when I can.
“Push the lads that are playing the best I can and make sure I am ready when called upon.
“That is all I can do. Put myself in the best possible position to be ready.”

Why Dan Scarr is not starting for Wrexham
Scarr is a proven Championship defender and, on paper, has the potential to be one of the best in his position across all of League One.
But he is yet to get that chance under Parkinson as the Wrexham boss has so far, stuck with the same back-three that won the club promotion in 2023/24.
Eoghan O’Connell, Max Cleworth and Thomas O’Connor have maintained their starting berths and looked sharp in the early stages of 2024/25.
But speaking last week, one Wrexham expert hinted O’Connell could be dropped for Scarr, suggesting that the former is suffering from a bit of ‘burnout’ as he has been so internal for the club over the last year or so.
Wrexham face Leyton Orient this weekend and as they are 16th in the division and have won just two in seven, it could be the perfect game for Parkinson to finally hand Scarr his league debut.
