Another promotion, as in previous years, means Wrexham have moved on plenty of players this summer already.
More exits are expected at the Racecourse Ground before the September 1 deadline.
Phil Parkinson has said Wrexham players will depart, with Ollie Palmer, Jacob Mendy and Elliot Lee potential options to do so.
But there are already a plethora of players who have left Wales in the last few months, several of whom were in action for their new clubs over the weekend.
Here is how the likes of Paul Mullin and Will Boyle fared in the latest gameweek.

Paul Mullin
- New club: Wigan Athletic
- Latest result: 2-0 defeat vs Leyton Orient
After falling out of favour with Parkinson, Mullin was sold to Wigan Athletic last month.
The striker featured heavily for the Latics in pre-season but has not started their first two league games.
Mullin came off the bench on Saturday for 22 minutes but had little impact on the fixture.
Will Boyle
- New club: Shrewsbury Town
- Latest result: 4-0 defeat vs Tranmere Rovers
Boyle saw very little game time at Wrexham in 2024/25 due to injury issues and competition for places.
The centre-back has since started two games in a row for rivals Shrewsbury Town, who are now plying their trade in League Two.
Shrewsbury were hammered by Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, with Boyle sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

Jake Bickerstaff
- New club: Cheltenham Town
- Latest result: 2-0 defeat vs Chesterfield
Jake Bickerstaff became something of a forgotten player at Wrexham, making just 24 appearances over several years at the club.
He spent the 2024/25 season away on loan in the National League and has now joined Cheltenham Town on loan for the current campaign.
Bickerstaff did not start their latest clash, coming off the bench to play 39 minutes.
Luke McNicholas
- New club: Forest Green
- Latest result: 2-2 draw vs Solihull Moors
Luke McNicholas only made three appearances during his stint with Wrexham.
He was sold to Forest Green Rovers this summer and was the only ex-player in action over the weekend who didn’t taste defeat.
The goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes as Forest Green got their National League campaign underway with a 2-2 draw.
Note: Other players who left Wrexham this summer, including Mark Howard and Luke Bolton, were either unused substitutes or not included in the matchday squads during the latest gameweek.
