Paul Mullin remains under contract at Wrexham until 2027, but his future seems to be away from the club.
Paul Mullin was dropped by Phil Parkinson in late January, not featuring in the league after the arrivals of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez.
Mullin commented on losing his Wrexham place during the latest season of Welcome to Wrexham over the summer.
Since then, the centre-forward has secured a loan move to League One outfit Wigan Athletic.
Mullin remains under contract at the Racecourse Ground until 2027, so the Dragons must once again make a decision on his future come the end of 2025/26.
Should they opt to sell the 30-year-old, though, it will likely be for less than what they could have earned a few months ago.

Paul Mullin market value declines
Wrexham signed Mullin on a free transfer back in the summer of 2021, so any money they may earn from a sale is still profit.
But his market value has seen a steady decline following the attacker losing his place under Parkinson and then securing a move back to League One.
According to Football Transfers, Mullin’s highest ever market value was €1.2m back in May 2024 when the club won promotion from League Two.
During 2024/25, when he was struggling for goals and regular starts, his market value steadily decreased before eventually reaching €0.5m in May 2025.
Mullin’s value has seen a further decline after moving to Wigan, with his valuation as of September now €0.4m.

Wrexham may struggle to sell Paul Mullin
Even with his market value dropping, Wrexham could struggle to secure a transfer fee for Mullin.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s arrival has allowed the Welsh side to hand out good contracts to many top players.
But the high wages have led to multiple players, including Ollie Palmer, needing their contracts to be terminated so they can leave for free. The reason for this is that interested clubs simply can’t afford to pay transfer fees and wages.
It also happened to George Evans this summer, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Mullin’s deal was terminated next year as well, so he could leave permanently.
