With the 2024/25 season over, attention has begun to turn toward the summer window, with all eyes on who Wrexham could sign or let leave.
Wrexham want Tom Cairney of Fulham, and are expected to break their transfer record for the Fulham midfielder.
The Red Dragons also have several striker transfer targets on their agenda, while defensive reinforcements are eyed as well.
But while incomings are the main talking point going into the Championship season, some exits have and could continue to happen.
Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer have been backed to leave, while goalkeeper Mark Howard will depart Wrexham this year with his contract due to expire on June 30, 2025.

Humphrey Ker reacts to Mark Howard leaving Wrexham
Howard confirmed the news via his own social media, citing his desire to continue playing beyond the most recent campaign.
A host of Wrexham players took to the comment section of the post to wish the goalkeeper well, including James McClean, who wrote: “ChompRex it’s been an absolute pleasure to share a dressing room with you mate, some man for one.”
Now, club chief Humphrey Ker has reacted to the news of Howard’s exit via his own Instagram post.
Ker wrote: “Farewell to a man who never let us down and always lifted us up. One of the greats. The Chomp.”
Howard then replied in the comment section: “I’ve only been in the presence of greatness, and you are truly one hell of a man.”
Wrexham players out of contract in 2025
News of more potential exits could follow in the very near future as the EFL’s contract renewal deadline is May 17.
There are several Wrexham players out of contract next month, including Steven Fletcher and Eoghan O’Connell.
Elsewhere, Liam Hall, Josh Adam, and Brad Foster’s deals with the Welsh side are due to expire.
The trio all have options for an extra year extension, but it’s yet to be confirmed if they will be activated.
