Ollie Palmer has rediscovered his goalscoring form after a difficult 2024/25 with Wrexham.
Phil Parkinson wanted to send Ollie Palmer out on loan during the 2025 January transfer window.
The striker opted to remain at the Racecourse Ground to be part of their promotion-winning season.
However, he didn’t play a single match for the Red Dragons after January 28 and has now left the club.
Palmer has joined Swindon Town on a free and was in action for his new team over the weekend.

Ollie Palmer rivalling Wrexham striker Kieffer Moore
With Palmer and Steven Fletcher leaving over the summer, new signing Kieffer Moore is the de facto big man in Phil Parkinson’s system this season.
Despite a mixed spell with Sheffield United, Moore has excelled since swapping Yorkshire for North Wales.
He has four goals in nine Championship appearances and also scored in the League Cup versus Preston North End.
Palmer has now matched his goal total in two fewer matches after scoring again for Swindon versus Newport County.
The 33-year-old netted the only goal of the match in the 10th minute to send his team top of the League Two table.
He’s now scored five in eight matches this season, including a brace for Wrexham in the Carabao Cup versus Hull City, which proved to be his final outing as a Red Dragon.

Swindon are on a great run of form under Ian Holloway and could well be plying their trade in League One next season.
Palmer is playing a crucial role in their rise and has now scored in their last two league fixtures.
