Leicester City secured a late point away to West Brom on Friday night to move them to third in the Championship that evening before the rest of the fixtures in the second tier.
There was late drama in the match as Nat Phillips turned Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s effort into his own net to deny West Brom the victory and share points after Samuel Iling-Junior gave the Baggies a first-half lead over the Foxes.
Leicester manager Marti Cifuentes will now turn his attention to their next fixture in the division on Tuesday when they host Wrexham.
The Red Dragons will be determined to continue their good away form recently, as for only the third time ever, Wrexham have won consecutive away games in the second tier.
However, Phil Parkinson will need to be aware of one crucial value that Cifuentes believes has been key to Leicester this campaign.

Leicester City’s belief until the final whistle is key, according to Marti Cifuentes
Marti Cifuentes was not full of praise for his Leicester City team as they managed to sneak a draw against West Brom with a late goal to equalise in the 93rd minute against West Brom.
While he was disappointed that they could not get the win, the Foxes boss was pleased about the ‘character’ his team showed to secure an unlikely point.
Speaking with Leicestershire Live, he said, “It was disappointing to concede this early goal. We started the game really well. It was a strong first half, having control, getting into the last third. Perhaps we missed a little in the last third to create more open chances, but I felt the team was growing in the first half.
“Unfortunately, through the minutes we started to get more emotional, and we had some turnovers around minute 70/75, and we started to be more up and down.

“We had to chase a result, and they got these two situations after the free kick and on the counter. It feels like we lost a little bit there.
“I value the personality of the players to get through the emotions of the game, at least to get an important point.
“Football, like life, is about challenges and getting through these difficult periods, these ups and downs.
“And when I look back at these games and since I’ve been here, what I value most is the personality and the character the team is showing.”
Wrexham must overcome their history against Leicester City to secure a victory
The Red Dragons have only ever managed to beat Leicester City on one occasion, and that came in September 1976, when they won 1-0 in the League Cup.
Leicester secured a win in the first match between the two sides, as they eliminated Wrexham from the FA Cup in January 1960 on a scoreline of 2-1.
| Competition | Date | Fixture | Result |
| FA Cup | 9th January 1960 | Wrexham v Leicester City | 1-2 |
| League Cup | 1st September 1976 | Wrexham v Leicester City | 1-0 |
| League Division Two | 2nd September 1978 | Wrexham v Leicester City | 0-0 |
| League Division Two | 22nd November 1978 | Leicester City v Wrexham | 1-1 |
| League Division Two | 24th November 1979 | Leicester City v Wrexham | 2-0 |
| League Division Two | 19th April 1980 | Wrexham v Leicester City | 0-1 |
| League Division Two | 5th September 1981 | Leicester City v Wrexham | 1-0 |
| League Division Two | 20th April 1982 | Wrexham v Leicester City | 0-0 |
Since the Welsh club’s victory in 1976, they have lost and drawn on three occasions each, with their last fixture coming in April 1982, when it ended in a 0-0 draw.
Phil Parkinson will not only have to overcome the never-say-die attitude of Cifuentes’ Leicester but also the history between the two teams to earn a victory on Tuesday in the Championship.
