Wrexham are set to face Norwich City this weekend in the Championship, and they are looking to achieve a feat they have only managed twice before in their history.
The Red Dragons have not made a fantastic start to the Championship, as they have collected only four points from their opening five games of the campaign.
Phil Parkinson will be looking to deliver Wrexham’s first win over Norwich in 55 years when they travel to Carrow Road.
Liam Manning believes the quality that Wrexham possess will make them a difficult challenge when they face off this weekend, as the Canaries look for their first home victory of the Championship campaign.
Wrexham can win consecutive away games in the second tier for only the third time
The Red Dragons collected their first win of the season against Millwall in a 2-0 victory away from home, prior to the international break.
There was a lot of disappointment that the Red Dragons could not follow this up with a victory at home against QPR last weekend; however, the visitors ran out comfortable 3-1 winners in the end.
Wrexham now have the chance to achieve something they have only ever done twice before in their history as a club: win consecutive away games in the second tier.
The club achieved this feat previously in August 1978 and December 1980, but it has been difficult for Wrexham to replicate due to their absence from this division for the last 43 years.

Wrexham can inflict an unwanted piece of history on Norwich City with a win
Norwich City are desperate to secure their first win of the Championship at Carrow Road, having lost their opening two games at home.
This desperation to secure a victory may be an advantage to Wrexham, despite there being pressure on Phil Parkinson and the future of his job as manager.

Wrexham have the opportunity to inflict three consecutive opening home defeats for Norwich City for only the second time ever, with the previous time happening only four years ago.
This happened to Norwich City previously in the 2021-22 season, when they were in the Premier League; as the Canaries lost their opening three home games of a season.
