Wrexham star, Paul Mullin has opened up about his performance against Accrington while on the launch of his new book.
Since signing on a free transfer for Wrexham in 2021, Paul Mullin has become a huge cult hero in North Wales.
With 85 goals in 110 games under Phil Parkinson, it is safe to say that the Welshman has been a top signing.
In his time with the club, he has featured heavily in the series ‘Welcome to Wrexham‘ and fans learned a different side of him.

With the career that he has had on top of his time with the Reds, he has released a book. ‘Paul Mullin: My Wrexham Story’ is coming out and the forward has hosted a launch event this week.
What has Paul Mullin said?
Up against Accrington Stanley, the Reds fell to their first defeat since September when they lost to Stockport County.
With Parkinson’s side falling two goals behind, George Evans went down in the penalty area and a spot kick was awarded.
Wrexham’s star man, Mullin stepped up and smashed the the bar before the ball bounced away, to Stanley safety.
With 1.16 xG and no goals scored, the Welshman wasn’t on the top of his game. This saw him very frustrated post-game.
Speaking at his book launch, Mullin revealed what his brother said to him about the performance. This was revealed on Twitter by Wrexham fans in attendance.
On his brother’s comments, Mullin said: “I’m surprised I got that reception after Saturday! My brother told me I was s***e after the game!”
When he came out to be greeted by fans chanting ‘Super Paul Mullin’ it must have been a great feeling for him. It obviously came as a surprise following his miss at the weekend, but even with that, he is well-loved.
Speaking with Ben Foster during the launch, fans enjoyed the pair’s conversation. At one point Mullin said: “We did okay at Halifax considering we played without a goalie!”
A bit of banter between the former teammates was good to see as Foster saw the funny side as always. A great event so get an insight into the Wrexham star.
