Paul Mullin recently completed a transfer to Wigan Athletic, the former club of Wrexham defender James McClean.
After winning promotion from the National League, Wrexham secured a major transfer coup, signing James McClean from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The now 36-year-old arrived with a plethora of Premier League and Championship experience, having featured for the likes of Wigan, West Brom, Stoke City and Sunderland.
McClean played 171 times for the Latics, scoring 23 and assisting 27 over two spells with the club.
Now, after Paul Mullin completed his move to Wigan last month, the Wrexham loanee has been discussing his Red Dragons teammate.

Paul Mullin on James McClean fighting Wigan Athletic player
Mullin made his first start for the Latics last week and was once again in action during their latest pre-season friendly on July 12.
Prior to that, the striker sat down with the club’s media to answer fan questions, including one about McClean fighting a Wigan star.
Mullin was asked, ‘who would win in a fight, Callum McManaman or James McClean?’.
He responded: “Be a good scrap that, I’d like to see that. Misfits set it up, we’ll find out.
Asked if he would not pick a winner, Mullin continued: “We’ll see, I don’t know. It’s not something I’ve often thought about, you threw me on the spot. Yeah, Misfits, get it sorted, we’ll find out.
He added: “Cal’s just aggressive, though, isn’t he, front foot. Obviously, James could have the boxing skills, should we say, but I’m not sure, Cal will be handy, won’t he? He grew up in Liverpool, got a lot of fight in him, as we know. So, I’m pretty sure he won’t be shy at the boxing gym. I’d be interested to see how that goes.”
What Ryan Reynolds said about James McClean fighting Jake Paul
The Wrexham defender has boxing experience, and McClean called out Jake Paul for a match in May.
A potential fight between the Irishman and the YouTuber turned boxer was discussed by Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds last month.
On McClean fighting Paul, Reynolds said: “The problem is Phil, right. Phil would be like, ‘You want to send my player in to get in a fight to fight this guy’.”
