Wrexham picked up another superb home win on Tuesday night as Ollie Rathbone popped up with an injury-time winner against Barnsley.
Wrexham fans piled into the STōK Cae Ras for the third game in a row on Tuesday night.
After home wins over Exeter City and Lincoln City, Wrexham were ready to do it all over again as Barnsley visited North Wales.
This one looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw before midfielder Ollie Rathbone emerged with the key moment of quality.
Rathbone drove forward and fired a left-footed strike into the net, sparking great celebrations inside the STōK Cae Ras.
Rob McElhenney and Danny DeVito celebrated Wrexham’s win over in Los Angeles with fans in the United States given a dramatic late winner.

Phil Parkinson makes Ollie Rathbone claim
Rathbone was the hero as he continues his fine run of form in the Wrexham midfield.
The 28-year-old bagged his first Wrexham goal against Exeter in November and has now followed that up with another goal.
It’s now two goals in three games for Rathbone and Phil Parkinson has offered him praise.
Speaking to The Leader, Parkinson branded Rathbone’s goal ‘brilliant’ having actually expected him to play a pass.
Parkinson added that Rathbone is now ‘getting better every week’ having turned in another ‘outstanding’ performance on Tuesday night.
“I think everyone thought Ollie was going to slide one of the strikers in but he’s hit a brilliant shot and that’s his second goal for us,” said Parkinson.
“Ollie’s getting better every week and he has capped off an outstanding performance with a brilliant goal,” he added.
Rathbone repaying Wrexham faith
Rathbone joined Wrexham from Rotherham United in August as Parkinson added more energy to his midfield ranks.
Steve Evans claims Wrexham paid a ‘significant’ fee for Rathbone but his start to life at the STōK Cae Ras was a little slow.
Rathbone struggled for starts at first but has now made himself almost undroppable in the Wrexham midfield.
We called for patience over Rathbone in October, remaining confident that he would give Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds a return on their investment.
That now appears to be the case with Rathbone turning in big performance – and coming up with big goals – as we saw on Tuesday night.
