Wrexham head into the first international break of the season on a high after securing their first win of the Championship campaign at Millwall.
Phil Parkinson will now relish the short break in league action with only Kieffer Moore and Dominic Hyam heading away with their respective nations.
It gives Wrexham the opportunity to further integrate new signings and build that team spirit which will be key to having a successful campaign.
Liberato Cacace has withdrawn from the New Zealand squad in order to focus on his recovery from a recent injury and Parkinson has given an update on another injured Wrexham star.

Phil Parkinson ‘frustrated’ over George Thomason injury
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney splashed out almost £40m on transfers this summer and one of those signings is yet to pull on the red shirt.
Wrexham signed George Thomason from Bolton Wanderers in a deal worth £1.2m, however, the midfielder picked up an injury early on his Red Dragons’ career.
Speaking to The Leader, Parkinson has given an update on Thomason and explains why the club are having to be cautious with his return.

Parkinson stated: “George started so well with us as well, he looks what we know that he’s a really good player.
“It was just something which was very minor but when we had it scanned, there was a split in the tendon at the top of his thigh which if we don’t give it time, could result in a more serious injury so we’ve had to be cautious with him.
“Sometimes when new players come into clubs and they adapt to different ways of training and a new environment, you can get injuries and obviously we’re very frustrated that we’ve lost George but he’ll be back stronger than ever.”
Injury has set George Thomason back in the Wrexham pecking order
Thomason would have been hoping to cement a place in the Wrexham midfield upon signing in the summer, however, upon his return from injury he may find himself a long way down the pecking order.
Wrexham signed Ben Sheaf from Coventry City on deadline day and the duo of Matty James and George Dobson have started the season in good form.
Last season’s player of the year Ollie Rathbone will also be hopeful of a return from injury sooner rather than later and there is real competition for places in the middle of the park.
To be successful in the Championship you need a deep squad, Thomason will just be hoping that he gets a fair chance to show what he can do.
