Wrexham have moved on a number of players in the last few months, including three this week.

Earlier in the summer, fans waved goodbye to Paul Mullin, who has joined Wigan Athletic on loan for the 2025/26 season.

More recently, Ollie Palmer saw his contract terminated, allowing him to move to Swindon Town on a free transfer.

Palmer scored his first goal for Swindon on Tuesday evening when he took on Jack Marriott’s Reading in the FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Wrexham allowed three players to leave on transfer deadline day, and Humphrey Ker has penned a message to those stars.

First up, Tom O’Connor joined Peterborough United on a season-long loan deal on Monday.

Later that day, the Posh snapped up another Wrexham ace, with Jacob Mendy leaving on loan as well.

The final exit on September 1 saw George Evans’ contract terminated by mutual consent so he could secure a free transfer to Burton Albion.

Now, club chief Ker has taken to Instagram to pen a touching message to the trio.

He wrote: “Three more of the absolute ruddy, bloody lads depart and take a small piece of my heart with them.

“All heroes, all wonderful people and all deserving of every success elsewhere. Look forward to seeing them again at the first possible opportunity.”

As well as the aforementioned trio, Mullin and Palmer, a number of other players departed.

Several, including Steven Fletcher and Mark Howard, were released at the end of their contracts in June.

A few fringe stars, like Sebastian Revan, have been sent out on loan for the ongoing campaign.

In total, 20 players left Wrexham in the summer of 2025, while 13 incomings were confirmed.

Despite all the exits, Wrexham must still leave four players out of their 25-man Championship squad.
