Phil Parkinson wanted professionalism in the final game of the season and saw Wrexham beat Lincoln City 2-0 away from home.
Elliot Lee and Ryan Longman found the net to hand Wrexham one final victory before heading to the Championship.
Rob McElhenney is already eyeing more success for Wrexham, but this is the time for recognising those who have inspired the promotion.
Max Cleworth won Wrexham’s Young Player of the Season award, Paul Mullin grabbed the Goal of the Season award and Ollie Rathbone was named Player of the Season after a superb campaign.

Phil Parkinson nominated for League One Manager of the Month
Now it’s manager Parkinson’s turn, as the Wrexham boss has been nominated for the League One Manager of the Month award for April.
Wrexham played six times in April and went unbeaten, claiming three wins and three draws.
This was ultimately Wrexham’s crucial month in the promotion race, securing second place ahead of Wycombe Wanderers and Stockport County.
The EFL have now confirmed that Parkinson is in contention for the League One Manager of the Month award.
“The Wrexham manager’s post comes with expectations and intense pressure, yet Parkinson’s calmness in the public eye has created the culture that secured Wrexham a third successive promotion with 12 points from six unbeaten games,” the EFL wrote.
Parkinson will face Birmingham City’s Chris Davies, Burton Albion’s Gary Bowyer and Leyton Orient’s Richie Wellens in the battle for this award.
The winner will be announced on Friday, as Parkinson looks to continue his remarkable record with the League One Manager of the Month award.
Phil Parkinson’s Manager of the Month record
If Parkinson wins, this would be his third award of the season.
Parkinson won Manager of the Month for August as Wrexham made a blistering start to life in League One with three wins from four.
A superb March saw Parkinson win again, claiming five wins from seven with just one defeat.
Parkinson was also nominated in November and December but lost out on those occasions.
The Wrexham boss has a long history with this award, with his first victory coming for his exploits with Colchester United in January 2006.
The 2009-10 season saw Parkinson win the award twice with Charlton Athletic, before winning it once more with Bradford City in December 2014.
Parkinson then won the League One Manager of the Month award three times in the 2016-17 season with Bolton Wanderers, guiding the club to automatic promotion.
Parkinson also won the award at Sunderland, taking the award for January 2020.
Nobody has won more League One Manager of the Month awards than Parkinson with 10, three more than nearest challenger and Wrexham hero Darren Ferguson.
Parkinson could now make it 11 having guided Wrexham to another promotion, again cementing his reputation as an EFL great.
