Wrexham will be looking to turn their fortunes around in the Championship this weekend when they travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich City.
Phil Parkinson may look at the fact that Norwich City have yet to win at Carrow Road in the Championship this campaign as a positive that his Wrexham could exploit; however, an away trip is never easy in the second tier of English football.
Now the Norwich manager has announced that he has identified a secret weapon within his squad, particularly due to his performance against Coventry City.
However, this secret weapon is now not so secret after Manning expressed his happiness about the player and his hopes that he can be an important piece for the Canaries moving forward.

Wrexham need to be wary of Norwich City’s Jakov Medic this weekend
Phil Parkinson may be rightly focusing a lot of Wrexham’s planning this week for the Norwich City fixture on how to nullify their star striker Josh Sargent.
However, Liam Manning has spoken about the importance of Jakov Medic to the Canaries after their draw with Coventry City last weekend, believing he will continue his form against Wrexham.
The central defender will need to stop the dangerous Wrexham, whose problems lie in defence, not attack, as Manning made clear with the Pink Un.

He said: “I thought Jakov showed some encouraging things, some real aggression, the use of his body when defending, and he will continue to get better. You are always striving for elements of consistency, and Championship football is so different.
“The intensity from start to finish never drops. I think that’s probably slightly different for some of them, in terms of when you’re playing in other leagues, the difference in levels. Maybe in some other countries you can have periods where the game settles a little more than what it does is here.”

Wrexham need a defensive solution like Jakov Medic for their problems
Phil Parkinson may be looking on at Manning’s comments with slight jealousy, as he wishes to find that solution to Wrexham’s defensive woes.
While he may believe that deadline day signing Dom Hyam may be the solution, something needs to be done, as mentioned by the former Wales striker Nathan Blake as he spoke to BBC Radio Wales’ Feast of Football Phone In.
He said: “Wrexham are in a bit of a precarious position at the moment. The heat is going to come on the manager pretty quick if they don’t start picking up wins.
“They’re conceding all the time; they’re not tight enough; they’re too passive in the way they are. They do need to sort that out.
“We can’t keep saying ‘it’s early days’. What happens is that confidence starts to ebb away. Fans start getting on your case, and it gets harder to get on a roll, and before you know it, it’s Christmas, and you’re in a relegation fight.”
