With the January transfer window in full swing, Wrexham have been linked to making various signings. Now let’s take a look at a dream XI should Phil Parkinson bring some stars in this winter.
It has been a great season which has seen Wrexham take to life back in the football league like a duck to water.
Under the tutelage of Phil Parkinson, the Reds have risen up following many years seemingly stuck in the National League.
They are now sitting pretty in third place in League Two after a great set of results, especially at The Racecourse.

This hasn’t stopped there being plenty of transfer links this winter which could improve the squad for the rest of the campaign.
With that being said, let’s take a look at a Wrexham dream XI should Parkinson bring in some star signings.
Wrexham January dream XI
In goal, Arthur Okonkwo has to keep his space. Unless he is recalled by Arsenal, he will be the number one. He has been superb since making his loan move to the Reds and there are many calls to sign him permanently. He certainly makes this dream XI.
It is safe to say that Ben Tozer has been superb this season and brings plenty to the table. Leadership, defensive stability and long throws, he has been great. Alongside him, Tom O’Connor has taken to the centre-back role with ease and has become a fixture of the squad.
It could be said that the signing of a centre-back could be beneficial. We have posed Josh Feeney or Danny Collinge as potential signings for the role. We suggest that the permanent signing of the latter could be an excellent bit of business. He makes this dream XI.
The wing backs are in plentiful supply in numbers and quality. We suggest James McClean on one side and Jacob Mendy on the other.
The midfield three will stay the same in this dream XI, that is how good it has been this campaign. With George Evans at the base, he helps dictate play. Alongside him is Andy Cannon who is great in that box-to-box role. They are complimented by the attacking qualities of Elliot Lee who has been superb this season.
Up front, Paul Mullin has to be in this dream XI. The Welshman is the star man for the Reds and is deserving of his spot. Alongside him, Jonson Clarke Harris would represent a great signing and a squad improvement. He may be expensive but he could prove to be worth every penny.
Wrexham dream XI: Okonkwo, Mendy, Tozer, O’Connor, Collinge, McClean, Evans, Cannon, Lee, Mullin, Clarke Harris
