Wrexham have made plenty of striking moves in recent times but one recent target has endured a mixed night of Europa League action.
Phil Parkinson came into the summer with four trusted strikers on his Wrexham books.
Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott were back again and set for key roles in the Wrexham attack.
Wrexham then signed Modou Faal on deadline day, adding the West Bromwich Albion talent on a permanent deal as a project for the future.
Sam Dalby, Jake Bickerstaff and Billy Waters were all loaned out and Wrexham seemed happy with the options.
Injuries to Marriott and Fletcher have sparked a rethink though with Wrexham securing the signing of free agent Jon Dadi Bodvarsson also month.

Wrexham target suffers mixed Europa League outing
Bodvarsson is already enjoying his time at Wrexham and will hope to make an impact during his short-term stay at the club.
The Icelandic striker is only on a deal until January and Wrexham may yet look to the loan market when Bodvarsson’s contract ends.
Wrexham certainly looked towards the loan market over the summer with Will Lankshear understood to be a target.
Reports in July suggested that Wrexham had made enquiries into signing Lankshear on loan from Tottenham.
No deal materialised though as Tottenham decided to keep Lankshear around Ange Postecoglou’s first-team squad.
Lankshear made his European debut against Ferencvaros in October and was in the Tottenham starting XI against Galatasaray on Thursday night.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a dream first half, scoring from close range after being set up by Welsh international Brennan Johnson.
Lankshear brought Spurs level at 1-1 but the second half turned into a nightmare for the striker as he picked up a second yellow card and was sent off.
Tottenham ended up losing 3-2 with Lankshear’s red card not exactly helping their cause.
Wrexham may keep tabs on Lankshear
This wasn’t Lankshear’s finest evening given the red card, but he did show off his predatory instincts inside the box.
Lankshear has scored plenty of goals for Tottenham at developmental level and scoring in the Europa League should not be sniffed at, especially at his age.
Lankshear is yet to feature in the Premier League this season and as Tottenham advance to the more serious stages of the Europa League, his playing time may dwindle.
That may leave Tottenham a little more open to a January loan move and Wrexham will surely be keeping tabs on his situation.
The hope is that Bodvarsson will prove himself enough to stick around, but Lankshear is still one to watch ahead of January.
