Wrexham fans will need to be at their best to help their team turn around a run of poor results at home.
When 2024/25 got underway, Wrexham had one of the best home records in League One and the entire EFL.
In fact, Phil Parkinson’s men went nearly an entire year without tasting defeat at the Racecourse Ground in all competitions.
However, Wrexham lost 3-2 to Stevenage on January 28th, ending their unbeaten streak in Wales.
This was followed up by a 2-1 loss to Leyton Orient before the Red Dragons exited the EFL Trophy in the semi-finals versus Peterborough United.
Those defeats meant Wrexham had lost two home games in a row for the first time since Parkinson became their manager all the way back in 2021.
But now the Welsh outfit are once again playing at home this weekend, taking on Rotherham United, and can’t afford another slip up.

Rob McElhenney sent message to Wrexham fans after Rotherham United win
The battle for second place in League One is very right right now, with just two points separating Wycombe Wanderes and Wrexham.
In turn, given that Rotherham are 14th in the division, this Saturday’s meeting at the Racecourse is simply a must-win.
But Wrexham’s home form will no doubt cause some fans concern as they have failed to win any of their last four in all competitions.
Last time the Hollywood-owned club played Rotherham, however, they got a helping hand from their supporters.
Wrexham won that match 1-0 owing to a 16-second Paul Mullin goal and were able to see out the victory thanks to the amazing efforts of the away supporters who made the trip to the New York Stadium on October 19th.
In fact, the fans who travelled to Yorkshire were so loud they even earned praise from co-owner Rob McElhenney, who tweeted at the time: “We are LOUD on the road. Sounded like a home game. Up the Town! @Wrexham_AFC”.
Wrexham fans can inspire Rotherham United win
The last time Wrexham played Rotherham, it was their away form that was pretty questionable.
Nearly five months later, the tables have turned, with Parkinson and co. winning four League One games on the spin when away from Wales.
But given how important the meeting with Rotherham on March 8th is, McElhenney will no doubt be looking for fans to once again inspire the team and come away with a victory.
Wycombe play Peterborough United on the same day, and anything but a win from them could see Wrexham go level on points with The Chairboys.
