Wrexham are battling it out at the top end of League One this season, once again eyeing promotion.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds took over Wrexham in 2021 and have managed to take the club from the National League to League One in just a few years.
The Red Dragons spent 15 years stuck in the National League but secured promotion at the second time of asking under Phil Parkinson in 2022/23.
Wrexham then dominated League Two in the following season to book a spot in League One for the current campaign.
With the halfway point of the season edging ever close, we are beginning to get an idea of where the club will be come May.
Ahead of the proper season getting underway, Wrexham were predicted to finish 20th in League One.
The Welsh outfit have, so far, massively exceeded those expectations and currently sit second in the table.

Mickey Thomas makes Wrexham promotion prediction
However, a place in the Championship for the 2025/26 season is still by no means guaranteed.
Wycombe Wanderers have opened up a four-point gap atop of League One ahead of the latest round of games.
Birmingham City are also just one point behind the Red Dragons with a game in hand, while Reynolds and McElhenney have been told why Wrexham will not win League One.
Despite this, as per Leader Live, club legend Mickey Thomas has now issued a fresh promotion prediction for the America-owned team.
He said: “Without doubt, they’re going up!
“Phil Parkinson has got such a good squad at his disposal and I’m confident they’ll go up for a third season in a row.”

While Thomas is very optimistic going into the hectic festive period, the Wrexham manager has previously urged caution.
The Red Dragons were knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round by Harrogate Town early last month.
After that game, Parkins spoke about Wrexham’s promotion chances but was quick not to get carried away.
He said: “It’s so early in the season to start talking about promotion. We’re a quarter of the way into the season and there’s a lot of football to play.
“We’ve got a lot of improving to do and this is a reality check for us and we get back in training, ready to work again for next week against Mansfield.”
If Wrexham are to win promotion in 2024/25, it is clear they need to improve their away record – dropping points in six games already this term when on the road.
