Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds had rivalry with Tom Brady
As well as competing for promotion out of the third tier, the two teams’ rivalry was stoked thanks to Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney, and Birmingham investor Tom Brady.
Birmingham beat Wrexham 3-1 in the first meeting between the two clubs this past season before playing out a 1-1 draw in the reverse clash at the Racecourse.
Brady sent a message to Wrexham fans and McElhenney after the Blues won the first match.
Meanwhile, Reynolds joked he doesn’t like Brady in the build-up to the second game the two sides played.
