This weekend Wrexham co-owner, Ryan Reynolds made his first appearance at The Racecourse since September. He was joined by another famous face, Kevin Feige.
This weekend, Wrexham secured back-to-back wins in League Two following a hard-earned 2-1 win over Colchester United.
Despite having George Evans sent off, Phil Parkinson’s side were able to secure all three points to keep them in the promotion race.
Goals from Elliot Lee and an own goal from Zach Mitchell were enough to cancel out a late Jayden Fevrier consolation goal.
This was added to by a great defensive performance including the return of Eoghan O’Connell who was on top form.
Although it may not have been the prettiest of wins, there was some Hollywood interest at The Racecourse. This as Ryan Reynolds was added by Kevin Feige to watch the Colchester Clash.
Who is Kevin Feige?
Feige is an American film and television producer. He is the president of Marvel Studios and the primary producer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In 2018, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture for producing Black Panther. He made history as this became the first superhero film to receive the award. Then in October 2019, he became chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment.

He was hired by Marvel in 2000 and the first film that he produced was X-Men. Although this may feel like it has no link to Wrexham, Reynolds played a part in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. This was the first time that he took up his now-famous Deadpool role before a stand-alone movie.
The Marvel Studio President has now signed Wrexham’s co-chairman to a massive contract to produce the third film of the franchise, which is set to release next year.
With that, Leader Live has reported that Feige was a guest of Reynolds to watch the Reds’ most recent win.
Which other celebrities have been seen at Wrexham?
Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are huge celebrities in their own right but their appearances at The Racecourse have become normal. It is the friends that they bring with them that bring additional eyes to the Reds.
In the past week Wayne Jones, owner of The Turf pub has opened up about celebrities he has seen. With Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell being the biggest names he dropped into his conversation.
Jason Sudeikis, Kit Harrington and Hugh Jackman are just some of the famous faces seen in North Wales in the past few years.
It is safe to say that Feige is the latest name on a long list that Reynolds and McElhenney have brought to the club.
