Paul Mullin has been tipped to leave Wrexham during the 2025 summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old fell out of favour after the arrivals of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez during the 2025 winter transfer window.
Barring an outing for the club’s reserves, Paul Mullin hasn’t featured since January 28.
Mullin has been backed to leave Wrexham this summer along with fellow number nine, Ollie Palmer.
After speculation over an exit, a concrete transfer link then emerged following the close of the most recent campaign.
It was reported by Alan Nixon that Wigan Athletic want to sign Mullin this summer, but that was not the most interesting part about his story.

How much does Paul Mullin earn at Wrexham
Nixon suggested at the time that Wrexham could be willing to let the striker go for free as his wages may make a transfer difficult.
This comes with the Englishman still under contract at the Racecourse Ground until 2027.
Currently, Salary Sport reports that Mullin is taking home £5,800 a week on his latest contract.
So, if the centre-forward were to leave for free at the end of June, Wrexham would save on 104 weeks’ worth of wages owed to the club icon.
That works out at a sum of £603,200. That is no small chunk of change, though, when looking at some of the players Wrexham are being linked with this summer, it pales in comparison.
Wrexham target Christian Eriksen has been taking home £150,000-a-week with Manchester United, while Ben Davies is linked and he earns £80,000-a-week at Tottenham Hotspur.

Wrexham 2025 wages
Jay Rodriguez earns £15,000-a-week currently, making him the club’s highest earner.
There are no confirmed figures for Sam Smith and Ryan Longman, who, like Rodriguez, signed in January.
Elsewhere, George Dobson is one of the club’s top earners, along with fringe player George Evans.
