Rumours of Wrexham wanting to sign a second Manchester United player after links to Jonny Evans have now been discussed.
Wrexham won promotion to the Championship in late April, and what has followed are links to some major names.
A move for Jamie Vardy has been ruled out by Humphrey Ker, but a number of other Premier League stars are still thought to be of interest.
Aaron Cresswell is linked to Wrexham along with his current West Ham United teammate, Danny Ings.
Meanwhile, Wales native Ben Davies is a target of the Red Dragons as they look to add high-quality experience to their ranks.
Since Phil Parkinson came on board, the club have made a habit of targeting players with experience in higher divisions.
Now, a pretty massive transfer for a Manchester United player has been mooted.

Wrexham signing Christian Eriksen discussed
Wrexham were linked with Jonny Evans a while back after it emerged he was expected to leave the Red Devils.
However, it has since been reported that Evans is retiring at the end of his contract, playing his final game last week.
But another big name from Old Trafford has now been linked to Wrexham in the form of Christian Eriksen, who is also set to become a free agent soon.
The rumour has been discussed on the Fearless In Devotion podcast this week by one of the hosts, Tim, who said: “Apparently, yeah, apparently, Parky is interested in signing Christian Eriksen.
“Now again, sort of the pre-fit for what we have is of a certain age of a certain experience. And he is of a certain age, and he comes with bags of experience.
“So, we’re in a weird position where it’s almost impossible to chuck any of these ideas out and dismiss them as complete lunacy because it’s Wrexham, isn’t it? Anything is possible. I don’t see it because I think there’s only so many players you can afford where the wages are going to be obscene.”
Christian Eriksen Manchester United wage
Right now, Jay Rodriguez is Wrexham’s highest earner, taking home £15,000-a-week following his January transfer from Burnley.
The Dragons are expected to quadruple their wage budget in the Championship, but even so, Eriksen is on a pretty hefty amount of money right now.
Capology reports that the Manchester United midfielder is earning £150,000-a-week, or £7,800,000-a-year.
Even with Wrexham planning to increase their wage bill massively, it’s hard to see the club being willing to pay him a similar sum, even if he would absolutely dominate in the second tier.
