The International break is coming to an end and Wrexham will finally have League One action to focus on once again.
No fanbase relishes the international break.
League action takes a back seat and it’s often difficult to get excited about international football outside of major tournaments.
Wrexham fans will have been especially frustrated though, having actually played through the last international break.
Wrexham beat Shrewsbury Town 3-0 in the last break but saw the clash with Lincoln City postponed this time around.
That means Wrexham fans have waited nearly two weeks since the 4-1 win over Northampton Town, but it feels like even longer.
Wrexham may need to get used to games being postponed at League One level, and here are three Wrexham players who could earn international call-ups of their own.

Thomas O’Connor
O’Connor has made the left-sided centre back role his own in this Wrexham side.
The former Southampton talent hails from Kilkenny in Ireland and has been youth international with the Republic of Ireland in years gone by.
After picking up Under-19 and Under-21 caps, O’Connor has yet to earn a senior cap for his country.
There is serious competition for places in defence in the Republic of Ireland squad.
Dara O’Shea, Nathan Collins, Andrew Omobamidele, Liam Scales, Jake O’Brien, Mark McGuinness and Shane Duffy are all in the mix.
O’Connor offers a natural left-footed option though and his ability to play either in defence or midfield is something boss Heimir Hallgrimsson should be interested in.
It’s a long shot against those defenders but O’Connor continues to impress for Wrexham and the Republic of Ireland staff should at least be keeping tabs on his displays.
Arthur Okonkwo
Okonkwo always had potential in the Arsenal setup but first-team opportunities were difficult to come by in North London.
The move to Wrexham is allowing Okonkwo to play regularly and show off his goalkeeping talent on a consistent basis.
Okonkwo breaking into the England squad is unlikely; the 23-year-old earned caps from Under-16 to Under-18 level but never even made the Under-21 squad.
Instead, Okonkwo could switch his international allegiance to Nigeria.
Okonkwo’s parents hail from Nigeria and reports in September suggested that Okonkwo held talks over representing Nigeria.
These switches can take time and it isn’t even clear if Okonkwo is going to accept a potential call-up from Nigeria.
Don’t be surprised if Okonkwo does make that jump though and few would back against him becoming Nigeria’s number one if he does represent the Super Eagles.
Paul Mullin
Mullin hails from Merseyside but qualifies to play for Wales through a grandparent.
The 29-year-old has been a goalscoring machine since signing for Wrexham in 2021 after buying into Rob McElhenney’s plans.
107 goals in 149 goals in all competitions for Wrexham is a ridiculous record and some have wondered whether Wales will come calling.
Mullin was on a standby list against Gibraltar and Croatia last season but is still waiting for a first real call-up.
New Wales boss Craig Bellamy was non-committal on Mullin when speaking to Wales Online in August, but he may well decide to take a look at Mullin in upcoming international breaks.
Wales aren’t exactly blessed with plentiful centre forward options and if Mullin starts finding the net at League One level, he may make himself impossible for Craig Bellamy to ignore.
