Wrexham were in action against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday, and one player is now dominating the entire EFL following his involvement in the clash.
A tricky test awaited Phil Parkinson and his players when they travelled to Yorkshire on March 4th.
Wrexham drew 0-0 with Huddersfield Town in the reverse fixture at the Racecourse Ground earlier this season.
And with both sides still pushing for League One promotion going into the final two months of the season, fans will have been preparing themselves for a very tense, tightly-contested affair.
That is exactly what transpired, but when all was said and done, Wrexham beat Huddersfield 1-0 to maintain their battle with Wycombe Wanderers for second.
The only goal of the clash came from Steven Fletcher, who was brought on in the 73rd minute for Jay Rodriguez.

Wrexham striker Steven Fletcher leading EFL and Premier League
Wrexham fans praised Fletcher for scoring what could prove to be a massive goal in their hunt for promotion come the end of 2024/25.
The Scotsman is now 37 and in the final six months of his contract in Wales, but he continues to shine in a limited capacity.
Fletcher has earned Wrexham points against the likes of Peterborough United, Cambridge United, and Wigan Athletic with his goals this term.
All told, he has found the net seven times in League One, with six of those coming as a substitute.
It’s now been revealed that Fletcher has scored more goals than any player across the top-four English leagues from the bench in 2024/25 – netting more than the likes of Fulham duo Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz, Wycombe’s Richard Kone and Jhon Duran, who left Aston Villa in a £71m transfer to Al-Nassr in January, as per BBC Sport.

Steven Fletcher admission after Wrexham winner vs Huddersfield Town
As already mentioned, the former Sunderlan man’s goals this season have been so valuable to Wrexham in maintaining their battle for promotion.
However, while it could prove to be a very key strike for the club, Fletcher spoke about his goal vs Huddersfield post-match and made an interesting admission.
He confirmed: ” [I] actually can’t really remember the goal, I remember the cross coming in and Sam [Smith] headed and it was just after that it was a blur.”
Wrexham now face Rotherham United on Saturday but will hopefully have that match won before Fletcher is required to come off the bench.
