Wrexham have made a poor start to life back in the Championship, as they currently sit directly above the relegation zone in the second tier of English football.
Phil Parkinson’s side have only collected four points from their opening five games, and now they need to travel to Norwich City this weekend to course-correct this form.
Wrexham may take confidence from the fact that Norwich City have yet to win at Carrow Road this season, with pressure growing on Liam Manning from fans as they wait to see a home Championship victory.

In order to do this, Wrexham have to find a way to end a 55-year run with Norwich City, helping to ease pressure on Parkinson.
Wrexham are looking for their first win over Norwich City in 55 years
Wrexham have only ever beaten Norwich City on one occasion in their history, and this came 55 years ago, when the two faced off in the FA Cup.
The Red Dragons emerged as 2-1 winners over the Canaries in that FA Cup fixture, after they failed to beat them in the five previous fixtures against Norwich.
Since that victory in January 1970, Norwich have beaten Wrexham on each occasion, twice in the League Cup and then twice in Division Two.
The last game between the pair was in February 1982, when Norwich City won 4-0.

Wrexham may not be pleased with their current record against Norwich City, with only one win and one draw in 10 matches against the Canaries.
However, Phil Parkinson may take solace in the fact that the one victory that Wrexham ever secured was away at Carrow Road, and so with Norwich’s current form at home, it may be written in the stars to bring an end to their 55-year run without a win against the Canaries.

Wrexham’s victory over Norwich City in the FA Cup in 1970
Wrexham’s only victory over Norwich City came in the third round of the 1970 FA Cup, with the Red Dragons emerging as 2-1 winners.
The game appeared to be wrapped up at half-time, as goals from Eddie May and Arfon Griffiths before the interval gave Wrexham an unassailable lead.
While Norwich did get a goal back only five minutes into the second half through Trevor Howard, it would prove to be only a consolation goal for the Canaries as they crashed out of the FA Cup that year.
Wrexham would exit the competition in the next round as they travelled to Liverpool to face Bill Shankly’s side; they lost 3-1 to the Reds, and their dreams of lifting the FA Cup were over for another season.
