Wrexham have not made a great start to life back in the second tier of English football, after their 43-year absence from the division, as they currently occupy 21st, only one place outside the relegation zone.
It must be remembered that it is early in the season and a lot can change; however, there have already been rumours of a change at the helm of Wrexham.
Phil Parkinson has done a fantastic job to get Wrexham to the Championship, but there was a fear he would be out of his depth at this level, and it seems to be proving true.

However, it must be remembered he has been without some of his star summer signings for periods of this season, and it will not have helped Wrexham to be missing such crucial players.
As they look set to return, there may be a change in fortune for Parkinson and Wrexham.
Josh Windass and George Thomason are set to return for the match against Norwich City
Wrexham’s life in the Championship is not set to get any easier, as they are set to travel to Carrow Road this weekend to face Norwich City, a club that will want to be in play-off contention come the end of the campaign.
Parkinson and the Red Dragons can take solace in the fact that Norwich City are yet to win a match at Carrow Road this Championship season. Along with the return of both Josh Windass and George Thomason, there may be a feeling of optimism going into this fixture that they can get a result.

The Wrexham manager confirmed their return with The Leader, as he said: “Josh Windass and George Thomasson will be back available for Norwich, so the squad is a strong one.
“It is a good squad, but we need to get as many options available as possible.”

Phil Parkinson may see Dom Hyam as a solution to Wrexham’s defensive problems
Dom Hyam was named on the bench for the defeat to QPR at the weekend, with the defender not making his debut for the club.
Hyam was a dependable rock at the back for Blackburn Rovers, and now Parkinson may look to hand him his debut against Norwich City after he joined the Red Dragons on deadline day after another poor defensive display by Wrexham against QPR.

Another player Parkinson is excited to bring into the fold for the Norwich match will be Ben Sheaf, an experienced player the Red Dragons manager believes could help tighten things up in the team.
He said: “Ben was great when he came on but needs work; he is a bit behind,” he added.
“He’s a good player, but when we brought him in, he hadn’t had the minutes he needs so we want to get him up to speed but don’t want to risk him getting injured.”
