Wrexham have had a number of players come and go from the football club in their rise through the English football pyramid.
Fans fear that Paul Mullin could be sold in the summer whilst another favourite in Ollie Palmer could also depart the club having been subject to interest in the January window.
Comings and goings are part and parcel of football and at Wrexham there is an understanding that a better quality of player will be needed should they secure promotion from League One.
Michael Williamson has outlined improved infrastructure plans for the club to attract these new stars however, there is always a heavy feeling when players do depart from the club, especially ones that have given so much to the Red Dragons.

Wrexham fans send positive messages to Rob Lainton following move to Altrincham
Altrincham confirmed the signing of Rob Lainton following the 35-year-old’s release from Wrexham and returns after almost a year out of the game.
Lainton played almost 150 games for the Red Dragons and was highly-regarded amongst the Wrexham fans, who have taken to X to send messages of support for the former keeper.
One Wrexham fan wrote: “Some signing that is. If you keep him fit, he’s easily the best keeper in the league.”
Another fan wrote: “Fantastic goalkeeper. He would still be here if it wasn’t for injuries. Best of luck Rob.”
The trend of positive messages from fans continued and the message seems clear that Altrincham have made a great decision, one fan wrote: “What a great signing. Keep him fit, then you’ve got the best keeper in the National League. Fact!”
Goalkeeper continues to be a problem area for Phil Parkinson
Goalkeeper has been the one position that Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has failed to find a consistent presence during his excellent reign at the Racecourse Ground.
Arthur Okonkwo came back into the side in the victory over Mansfield after having missed the last three league games with Mark Howard taking the gloves.

Callum Burton has also featured in the sticks for Wrexham this season but has been missing since December with a torn thigh muscle.
It is a position that Parkinson needs to find a consistent performer in for the remainder of the campaign as a goalkeeper builds confidence the defence in front of him. Partnerships and consistent team selection is needed for that.
