Wrexham are on the rise in the English football pyramid and will not stop until they reach their ultimate goal.
Wrexham’s ultimate goal is to reach the Premier League and in Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney the club have ambitious owners to achieve that target.
Wrexham are signing players to take them to the Premier League but the club know that they will need to improve their infrastructure if they are to succeed in making it to the promised land.
Wrexham fans were divided on the new Kop stand plans but improvements to the Racecourse Ground are going to be needed along the journey. The Chief Executive has also been exploring other ways in which to make the Red Dragons more attractive to potential signings.

Michael Williamson outlines plans to invest in Wrexham’s training facilities
Speaking to The Leader, Michael Williamson has outlined plans for Wrexham to invest in new training facilities in order to attract better quality players as the progress through the divisions.
Williamson stated: “As we move up, recruitment of players in the Championship and Premier League becomes more difficult because they are looking at what facilities are being provided for the players.
“Training facilities are a critical part of that and we absolutely need to invest in training facilities. Colliers Park is fantastic, the pitch is fantastic but it’s not ours.”
The Chief Executive then went on to explain how the right training facilities can also make the difference to results on the pitch for Phil Parkinson’s men.
Williamson explained: “We start to talk about percent differences, like one or two percent difference that can mean winning or not winning a match.
“That’s where having proper training facilities and proper rehabilitation facilities gives the players the best opportunity for them to be able to perform for the ninety minutes.”
Wrexham have already attracted Premier League players such as Ben Foster and James McClean
Wrexham have already been able to attract some ex-Premier League stars with club captain James McClean having played 158 times in English football’s top division.
Ben Foster was grilled by Parkinson before signing for the club and the goalkeeper also boasted a wealth of top-flight experience having represented Manchester United and Watford in the sticks.

Recent signing Jay Rodriguez is an England international and scored 46 times in the Premier League. It proves that the North Wales club are an attractive option to players.
Improvements to the stadium, training ground and more club facilities will only seek to further improve Wrexham’s intrigue to potential new signings along their incredible journey.
