Wrexham fans have been reacting to Paul Mullin’s latest performance in a Wigan Athletic shirt.
After four fantastic years at the Racecourse Ground, the 30-year-old parted ways with Wrexham this summer, at least on a temporary basis.
Since swapping North Wales for Wigan, Paul Mullin had endured a mixed spell of form, especially in the last seven days.
In midweek League One action against Luton Town, Wigan fans hammered Mullin during his first league start of the season.
However, the Latics faithful quickly changed their tune over the weekend.

Wrexham fans message to Paul Mullin after goal
Wigan fans praised Mullin when he came off the bench to score the equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Rotherham United.
Manager Ryan Lowe shared his verdict on the Wrexham loanee following the stalemate.
Now, Red Dragons fans have taken to social media to show their love for their former centre-forward.
One Wrexham fan tweeted the Wigan loanee: “Get in, Super @PMullin7!”
Countless more messages with a similar tone flowed in from the Wrexham faithful:
- “SPM”
- “Super Mullin”
- “You’ve got Mullin! Super Paul Mullin!”
- “I just don’t think you understand…”
- “Way to go Paul Mullin!!!”
- “Well done Mulls”
- “Atta boy, Mullin!”
- “Shows how clueless some Wigan fans are. They don’t deserve Mulls.”
- “To all the Mullin haters in the Wigan fanbase, you don’t deserve him.”
Paul Mullin goals vs Wrexham strikers
While the goal against Luton was his first in the league this term, Mullin previously found the back of the net during the first round of the Carabao Cup earlier this month.
In 2024/25, the Englishman scored five goals in 32 matches across all competitions for Wrexham, three of which came in the third tier.
This season, meanwhile, he now has as many goals as Ollie Palmer after he netted a brace against Hull City.
Kieffer Moore is also on two after scoring twice when Wrexham drew with Sheffield Wednesday.
Ryan Hardie and Nathan Broadhead haven’t found the back of the net this season, while Sam Smith opened his account against West Brom last week.
