Wrexham have secured some major names since the arrival of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in Wales.
With some help from Humphrey Ker, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds purchased the Red Dragons back in February 2021.
During their stint as owners, they have made a habit of signing names who would normally be too high profile for a club in their position.
Back in their National League days, Wrexham signed Paul Mullin after he had just one promotion to League One and finished 2020/21 as the top scorer in the fourth tier.
Ollie Palmer and Elliot Lee were among other names to drop down a division or two to the fifth tier.
More recently, Wrexham have been signing players like Jay Rodriguez and Matty James, who have previously lined out in the Premier League and the Championship.

Wrexham landed Phil Parkinson ahead of West Brom
Another big name to move to the Racecourse in the early stages of the takeover was Phil Parkinson.
Wrexham sacked Dean Keates after he failed to get the club into the play-offs during the 2020/21 season.
The club were then able to sign Parkinson, who had previously enjoyed stints as a coach at a much higher level than the National League.
Now, Ker has said this week that Championship side West Bromwich Albion were looking at the now Wrexham boss, but the Hollywood-backed side were able to use their ‘financial clout’ to persuade him to join.
He said on the High Performance podcast: “At the time I think they were enquiring about him for the West Bromwich Albion job, and so we persuaded him, that was probably an area where, again, the financial clout of being able to offer you like, look, we can offer you, the kind of contract, nothing crazy of course.
“But what we can do is give you a rolling contract, so you’re always one year out from the end of your contract. And that gives him a degree of security that, again in lower league football, in all football, is hard to get.
“And I mean, far and away, he’s been the best decision we made. We’ve signed some great players. We’ve made some good decisions around the fan experience and all that kind of stuff, but Phil, I think, is the one who has created a culture at the club that we’re all really proud of.”
Will the Wrexham trend continue this summer
Wrexham have now been promoted to the Championship ahead of the 2025/26 season getting underway.
If they follow recent trends, fans could expect to see players from the Premier League dropping down to sign for the second-tier side.
Jamie Vardy was linked, though a move for the Leicester City forward does seem to be off the table.
However, Wrexham are interested in a Manchester United youngster, who is due to become a free agent this summer.
