Wrexham co-owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have been urged to buy another sports team.
The Hollywood duo have now been at Wrexham for coming up to four years.
They completed their takeover in November 2020 and have since seen the club win back-to-back promotions under Phil Parkinson.
The Dragons are returning to League One next season after 19 years, with their last season in the English third tier being the 2004/05 campaign.
Names like Andy Holt and Darren Ferguson were the ones pulling on the Wrexham shirt back then.
Now though, there’s even talks of Wrexham being interested in former England striker Jamie Vardy ahead of his Leicester City contract expiring.
And there’s a huge thanks to McElhenney and Reynolds for making it all possible.
Their journey with the Welsh club has been well-documented and well-received across the globe, with the pair not only celebrity football owners but successful ones too.

Journalist urges Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds to buy failing US sports team
US baseball franchise Miami Marlins are at a loss right now.
A report from Marlin Maniac has described their current season as ‘terrible’, and ‘one of the worst in franchise history’.
There appears to be a major sell-off underway with the Marlins losing some of their top players right now.
And journalist Joe Schad has urged ‘the Wrexham guys’ to take control of the failing Marlins, albeit in a hopeful way.
The US journalist, who has more than 200k followers, on X posted:
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney expanding in the sports business
There’s been reports from US outlet Variety that the pair have bought a stake in Liga MX outfit Necaxa, as well as previous talks of them buying into NHL side Ottawa Senators last year.
The latter didn’t come about, though it certainly seems like the pair are looking to expand their sporting portfolio beyond Wrexham.
And it’s unsurprising given their success in Wales.
Though Wrexham being the first club they’ve bought into, and having been so successful and unique in their story, will surely be their pride and joy wherever they go in this industry.
It might become a common theme for journalists and fans alike to urge Reynolds and McElhenney to invest in their failing teams or franchises.
Right now though, there’s a huge summer ahead at Wrexham with plenty of work needed to be done both on and off the pitch.
Expect potential interest in other sporting teams to be put on the backburner whilst Wrexham ready themselves for what will be a very tough League One campaign next year.
