Wrexham are looking to get their League One season back on track with a tough clash against Mansfield Town.
The Red Dragons have enjoyed a fine start to the season but zero wins from their last three fixtures in all competitions is a big blow.
Wrexham have drawn their last two League One games against Huddersfield and Charlton Athletic.
This has seen Phil Parkinson’s side drop out of the automatic promotion places and slip down to third in the table behind Birmingham City and new league leaders, Wycombe Wanderers.
On paper, Wrexham should be able to dispatch Mansfield Town as they remain one of just a few EFL sides still yet to lose a home league game in 2024/25.
However, Mansfield should not be underestimated as they are only one point adrift of the Red Dragons going into the weekend with a game in hand.

Wrexham vs Mansfield Town referee revealed, Phil Parkinson may be furious
Ahead of the game, the EFL have now revealed who will officiate the meeting between Wrexham and Mansfield.
Simon Mather will be the referee on the day, while Joe Simpson and Emily Carney will be his assistants.
Scott Jackson has been appointed as the fourth official on Saturday and there is, of course, no VAR in League One.
Parkinson has an unwanted history with Mather after he sent defender Will Boyle off in a meeting against Newport County back in January 2024.
As per Goal, following the red card, Parkinson was spotted berating the official for the decision, with the Wrexham manager protesting that his player ‘took the ball’.

Simon Mather record with Wrexham
All told, Mather has taken charge of 10 Wrexham fixtures as a referee over the years.
Wrexham have won five, drawn two and lost three of the outings Mather has been involved in.
When officiating the Red Dragons, the EFL official has branded 16 yellow cards, two red cards (including Boyle’s) and awarded one penalty kick.
Given the importance on Saturday’s clash, Wrexham will be hoping for a much calmer game this time around.
