The level of success Wrexham achieve this year is still to be determined, but they can hold their head high knowing they’re the sole holders of one very impressive record.
It’s been a season of lots of positives for the Red Dragons, with a fair few negatives thrown into the mix. Indeed, inconsistency has plagued Phil Parkinson’s side in recent weeks.
They picked up a big result away at Mansfield Town this weekend, with a 2-1 win closing the gap on Wycombe Wanderers and keeping automatic promotion hopes alive.
But, the game also saw Wrexham maintain an impressive run in 2025 that no other team in England can boast, not even Premier League giants like Liverpool and Manchester City.

Wrexham are the only team to score in every game in 2025
Before this weekend’s round of games, Wrexham were one of three teams that had managed to score in every game in 2025. They were joined on that list by a resurgent Man City, and League One rivals Birmingham City.
As you may know, Man City fell to a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, meaning their goalscoring streak came to an end.
Meanwhile, Birmingham could only manage a 0-0 draw away at Reading on Saturday. They may be in control of the title race right now, but their goalscoring run also ended there.
| Date | Opponent | Result |
| 1st Jan | Barnsley (A) | Lost 2-1 |
| 4th Jan | Peterborough (H) | Won 1-0 |
| 16th Jan | Shrewsbury (A) | Lost 2-1 |
| 23rd Jan | Birmingham (H) | Drew 1-1 |
| 28th Jan | Stevenage (H) | Lost 2-3 |
| 1st Feb | Crawley (A) | Won 1-2 |
| 4th Feb | Port Vale (A) | Won 1-4 |
| 11th Feb | Bolton (H) | Won 1-0 |
| 15th Feb | Northampton (A) | Won 0-2 |
| 18th Feb | Leyton Orient (H) | Lost 1-2 |
| 23rd Feb | Mansfield (A) | Won 1-2 |
With Wrexham’s 2-1 win at Mansfield, the Red Dragons are now the only team in England’s top five leagues to have scored in each game this year.
Wrexham have struggled with their away form, and now look weaker at home after losing their unbeaten run at the Racecourse Ground. But, this goalscoring record is certainly one to be proud of.

Wrexham’s striker issues are not holding them back
It’s an even more impressive record when you consider Wrexham’s well-documented struggles in the striker department this season.
With Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer miles off their prolific form of years gone by, and new signings Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez taking time to settle at Wrexham, it has been down to the likes of Elliot Lee and defender Max Cleworth to deliver in front of goal.
| Wrexham top scorers in 2024/25 | Goals |
| Elliot Lee | 8 |
| Max Cleworth | 8 |
| Steven Fletcher | 6 |
| Ollie Rathbone | 5 |
| Jack Marriott | 5 |
The latter duo are Wrexham’s top scorers this season, which says a lot about the state of the players in the forward position at the moment.
It’s a problem, to be sure, and one that Parkinson will need to solve as soon as possible. But, the fact that players in other areas are contributing goals is definitely a positive and something he will be hoping continues.
It may be that we have to wait until next season to really see Sam Smith flourish up top, and he will very likely need a new strike partner, too. If Wrexham do get promoted, you can guarantee there will be some major changes in the summer, and we expect another big signing to be made in the attacking area.
