Norwich City head coach Liam Manning was left particularly frustrated after Phil Parkinson’s Wrexham put further pressure on the Canaries’ boss.
Wrexham beat Norwich City at Carrow Road, making it two Championship wins this season so far for Phil Parkinson’s side.
While Wrexham found themselves on the back foot in the first half, with Norwich City going into the interval with a one-goal advantage, things were turned around in the second half, with Josh Windass inspiring a brilliant comeback.
Wrexham’s 3-2 win was the product of an inspired performance, which has, in turn, put pressure on Norwich City and Liam Manning.
In the aftermath of Wrexham’s win against the Canaries, Manning gave an unfiltered reaction to the game, with the game leaving him ‘angry’ in the aftermath.

Wrexham performance left Liam Manning ‘angry’
Wrexham did brilliantly to frustrate Norwich City, despite the hosts accumulating 62% possession and 14 shots.
Following the Red Dragons’ brilliant win on the road, Norwich City boss Liam Manning was livid with his side.
Speaking, via The Pink Un on YouTube, Manning made his emotions clear, speaking especially about the concerns of supporters.
“Yeah, all the emotions, angry, frustrated, disappointed. I think we weren’t good enough today, ultimately,” said Manning when asked how he felt after the defeat against Wrexham.
“I’m feeling the same emotions (as the fans) in terms of hurt, frustrated, angry. I totally understand it. And I’ve always said we have to give the fans something to get behind and we didn’t do that for long enough today. We have to earn the right. We didn’t do that long enough today.”
The media delivered a set of challenging questions towards Manning, which included his side’s inability to quash the Wrexham threat on the right flank, with Issa Kabore causing issues for Norwich City.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has uncovered a new strength
Issa Kabore’s first appearance for Wrexham saw the defender put in a spectacular showing at Carrow Road.
The defender offered an extra attacking output for Wrexham, making them far more dangerous on the counter-attack.
While many would look at the stats and suggest that Wrexham were fortunate to come away with all three points, Phil Parkinson’s gameplan paid off spectacularly.
Wrexham were never going to have the majority of the ball against Liam Manning’s side, but when they picked up the ball, they had to be prolific and not wasteful.
Kabore has helped unleash another strength in Wrexham’s attack, and there is no doubt that he will be pivotal in getting the very best out of Kieffer Moore and Josh Windass in the final third.
