Wrexham have a number of players out on loan this season – with some impressing away from The Racecourse more than others.
Jordan Davies is back in action for Grimsby after some time out, Jake Bickerstaff is getting some minutes for Altrincham and Billy Waters has been impressing for Halifax.
These Wrexham loanees, for the majority, will be made decisions on at the end of the season – with a lot ultimately depending on how they perform whilst away from The Racecourse, and whether Phil Parkinson’s side are promoted once again.
One player that will raise some questions is in the absolute form of his life at the moment, that man, is Sam Dalby.

Sam Dalby scores again for Dundee United
Dalby moved to the Scottish Premiership at the end of August and hasn’t exactly taken long to settle in. Four months on – he’s arguably their most important player.
He was on the scoresheet once again on Saturday against Kilmarnock, netting what looked to be the winner in the 79th minute.
Kilmarnock, on the other hand, had different plans. A 94th-minute penalty ensured the points were shared at the CalForth Construction Arena.
Dalby now has five goals in his last six appearances. He really is in the form of his life.
Sam Dalby loving life away from Wrexham
Dalby, in 27 fewer games, has now surpassed his goalscoring record for the Red Dragons last season. Phenomenal stuff.
| Team | Games | Goals |
| Wrexham 23/24 | 40 | 5 |
| Dundee 24/25 | 13 | 6 |
Dalby even won the SPL Player of the Month – meaning Parkinson now has a decision to make at the end of the season, keep or sell.
Whatever happens, it’s nice to see Dalby back in form, and Dundee will be delighted they poached him in the summer. Dundee also now want Dalby permanently.
