Wrexham are looking to sign another striker in January as one forward attracts attention after leaving the STōK Cae Ras on transfer deadline day.
Wrexham sit second in the League One table after just three defeats in the first 17 games of the season.
Phil Parkinson has Wrexham challenging for a third straight promotion and January investment could be crucial.
Wycombe Wanderers ace Jack Grimmer is expecting potentially ‘obscene’ spending from Wrexham in January in an attempt to go up again.
Reports suggest that Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds will splash cash on a new striker with Wrexham seeking a Championship-level goalscorer.
That could help Wrexham get over the line but one loaned-out striker just can’t stop scoring right now.

Dundee United boss on Sam Dalby deal
As Wrexham signed Modou Faal on deadline day, Sam Dalby was one of three forwards loaned out by Phil Parkinson.
Dalby joined Dundee United on loan for the season, taking him to the end of his Wrexham contract.
Steven Fletcher loved seeing Dalby’s move to Scotland and the striker is certainly making the most of his chance.
Dalby has now scored five goals in his last six games and found the net at Ibrox against Rangers last weekend.
Wrexham are unlikely to offer Dalby a new contract but his form at Tannadice will certainly have turned a few heads.
Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin has now commented on Dalby’s future with fans desperate to see him stay.
Speaking to The Courier, Goodwin admitted that he would love to sign Dalby permanently and keep him at Dundee United for a long time yet.
Goodwin has spoken to Dalby’s agent about a deal and believes that the striker suits Scottish football perfectly.
Goodwin added that he doesn’t know whether Wrexham have a plan for Dalby’s future but believes players like him are ‘hard to find’.
“Sam is a player that we really like, and we would love to enter into negotiations about extending his time here at United because he’s coming out of contract at Wrexham in the summer,” said Goodwin.
“Sam has done everything that I expected from him and he’s loving it here. I spoke to his agent after the game on Saturday and he’s speaking very positively about the whole set-up here at Dundee United, which is great. Five goals in six games is a great return for someone who had to be patient at the beginning. I think he has more to come. He’s at a great age and the Scottish game really suits him.
“I don’t know what Wrexham’s long-term plans are for Sam but, from our perspective, I couldn’t be any more pleased with what he’s done. The only concern with Sam is that, as much as we’re admiring the work he’s doing, I’m pretty sure there’ll be lots of other people taking notice.
“Number nines like that are hard to find these days; ones who can hold the ball up, lead the line, have good feet and an eye for goal. I’m not stupid enough to think that there wouldn’t be other teams out there looking at him as well – teams that might have deeper pockets than us,” he added.
Sam Dalby on his future
Wrexham are in the market for a striker and Dalby is in the form of his life right now.
That has sparked suggestions that Wrexham could recall Dalby in January to bolster Parkinson’s options.
That seems a little unlikely; Parkinson was happy for Dalby to go as he was well down the Wrexham pecking order.
Parkinson surely hasn’t changed his mind right now, especially with new signing Jon Dadi Bodvarsson added to the attacking ranks.
Add in that Wrexham plan to sign another striker and Dalby seemingly isn’t expecting a return.
Dalby suggested earlier this week that he plans to stay with Dundee United at least until the end of the season, ruling out a January return and seemingly ending his Wrexham career in the process.
