A footballing career cannot last forever, and there will come a time when a player needs to think about what their next role is once they retire.
The PFA (Professional Footballers’ Association) attempts to encourage players to undertake studies while they are currently employed as professional footballers to prepare them for retirement.
During the week many professional footballers and former players received their degrees and diplomas as they think about their future careers.
One of those to be celebrated by the PFA was a current Wrexham star, who has been pivotal to the club this season in the Championship.

Kieffer Moore graduated with a diploma in sport directorship
While many footballers go off into football coaching or punditry after they opt to retire, it is not a career that every individual wishes to pursue.
This is evidenced in Kieffer Moore’s decision to look for a career in sport directorship once he retires, having graduated with the diploma yesterday, following a period of study alongside his footballing career.
While he was not the only player to graduate yesterday, with several notable names in English football doing likewise, he was a shining example to those from Wrexham about their next career moves.
The PFA took to social media to celebrate the achievement of Kieffer Moore, posting, “Graduating from the PFA Business School.
“@Wrexham_AFC striker Kieffer Moore collected his Diploma in Sport Directorship yesterday.”
Wrexham celebrate Kieffer Moore’s impact on the pitch
While the PFA took to social media to celebrate the off-the-pitch achievements of the Wales striker in the classroom, his current club took a different approach.
Wrexham took to their social media accounts to celebrate the clinical nature of Kieffer Moore this season.
The Red Dragons pointed out that across the whole season, in six games for Wrexham, he has scored a total of five goals.
It was also stated that he has a league xG of 2.05, demonstrating how he is outperforming what is expected of him in the Championship.
