There have been many sibling rivalries throughout the history of football, with Wrexham set to become the latest club involved in this element of the sport.
Examples of brothers competing against each other include Gary and Phil Neville when the brothers captained Manchester United and Everton against each other in the Premier League.
While at international level, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Jerome Boateng represented the two separate nations of Ghana and Germany, respectively.

Now a Wrexham star could face his brother in the Championship this season, as he has left Arsenal to join a rival in the second tier.
Arthur Okonkwo’s brother has joined West Brom from Arsenal
Wrexham star Arthur Okonkwo could line up against his brother Brian after he completed a move from Arsenal to West Brom.
Brian Okonkwo has joined West Brom on a short-term deal until the end of the season after he impressed while on trial with the club.
The 19-year-old impressed in the Under-21 squad with the Baggies to earn the contract, and should he continue his form, he will be given a longer-term deal.

At present Arthur Okonkwo is lining up for Wrexham due to an injury to summer signing Danny Ward, and so should Brian impress, they could face off against each other in the Championship.
There will be a lot of eyes on Brian and his progress at West Brom, as there will be a hope he can reach the levels of his brother Arthur; should he manage that, then he will have a fine career.
When the brothers could face each other
It is unlikely that the two brothers will actually line up against each other this season due to Brian being involved with the underage side at West Brom.
However, the Baggies are just a few injuries away from making that a reality. Danny Ward was expected to be the goalkeeper for Wrexham this season, but a long-term injury has shifted that role to Arthur Okonkwo.
West Brom and Wrexham have already faced each other once in the Championship this season, with the Baggies emerging victorious at the Racecourse.
So, should the brothers both be the first-choice keepers at their respective clubs in the coming months, they could square off at the Hawthorns on April 3, 2026.
