Wrexham’s 2025/26 fixture list has now been revealed, with the Dragons kick-starting their Championship campaign away at Southampton on Saturday August 9th.
It’s a tricky opener for Wrexham following their promotion from League One, going up against a Southampton side who competed in the Premier League last season, albeit racking up just 12 points across the campaign.
The Dragons’ first home game of the Championship season is a week later on August 16th with a visit from West Brom: two huge and historic teams in England who’ve had their share of time in the Premier League since the turn of the Century.
Wrexham finish the season on May 2nd 2026 with a game at home against Middlesbrough, another team with Premier League pedigree.

Wrexham’s pre-season fixture list
Before the new Championship campaign gets underway, Wrexham are going on a pre-season tour of Australia. Like with their previous pre-season tour of the US, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will look to spread the Wrexham joy into another corner of the globe.
Wrexham play Melbourne Victory on July 11th, Sydney FC on July 15th, and then New Zealand outfit Wellington Phoenix on July 19th.
Upon returning to Wales, expect Phil Parkinson to want to arrange a few more friendlies with teams in and around Wrexham, as he gears his side up for what is going to be a very difficult next season in the second tier.
