Wrexham are keen to add further signings at the Racecourse this summer with more arrivals expected before the 2024/25 League One season kicks off.
League One will be the biggest test yet for Wrexham, and the Red Dragons boss Phil Parkinson would like to add extra quality in depth to his squad.
Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have already sanctioned impressive moves this summer.
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo returned to the club permanently, signing a three-year deal at the Racecourse.
The Wrexham fanbase was happy with the latest arrival after Wrexham announced they had snapped up Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt in early July.
The former Sunderland coach has been keen to add quality all over his squad with the club being linked with a move for forward targets.
Paul Mullin’s latest injury blow may have shifted the priority of a forward signing, with Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw emerging as a potential arrival in North Wales.
If the club cannot secure Bradshaw’s signature, Parkinson may have an experienced alternative available on a free transfer this summer.

Connor Wickham is a good alternative to Tom Bradshaw for Wrexham
Since the Hollywood takeover Wrexham have targetted players with experience in higher leagues. Wickham spent his younger in the Premier League with Crystal Palace and Sunderland. There is no denying the English forward has struggled with injuries throughout his career but can offer quality when fit.
The former Crystal Palace man will be looking to re-boot his career at his next club. The forward is 31 years old but still has something to offer.
Wickham’s most recent spell came in League One last season when he signed a short-term contract with Charlton Athletic. The former Ipswich Town star scored one goal in four appearances.
Meanwhile, during his time in this very division with Forest Green Rovers, then-manager Ian Burchnall lauded the forward as ‘brilliant‘ after a rich vein of form in front of goal.
If Parkinson believes he can help the striker regain fitness, he may be a solid option for depth. He would bring a wealth of experience after playing for numerous EFL clubs including Leeds United.
It may be a gamble with his previous injury record, but with no transfer fee needed it may be a good option for the club to consider.

The free-agent market is a good option for Wrexham this summer
Wrexham will be looking for numerous signings to bolster the squad. The club have so far secured one free agent this summer with Okonkwo returning to the club, but there are many strong options available that might interest the Red Dragons.
An interesting opportunity on the market is Joe Morrell after he recently confirmed his exit from Portsmouth.
The Welsh international would be a quality addition to the Racecourse as he has strong experience of the Championship and League One.
The 26-year-old is set to hit his prime years and has much to offer to his next club.
Alongside Morrell, several other former Championship players are looking for new clubs after their contracts expired last season.
The free-agent market provides Wrexham the perfect opportunity to strengthen the squad with shrewd signings that don’t require a transfer fee.
