Neil Harris has discussed transfer speculation suggesting Tom Bradshaw could leave Millwall, with Wrexham one of the clubs linked.

With the League One campaign approaching, Wrexham have started to make their mark in the summer transfer window.

Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are keen to add quality to the Red Dragons squad as they step up a division.

Manager Phil Parkinson is keen to add depth to his squad with impressive signings of goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and defender Lewis Brunt already through the door at the Racecourse.

However, the recent injury blow to Paul Mullin may force the club into the market for a forward signing as well.

Wrexham have been looking to add players with Championship quality as they aim to be competitive in League One next season.

Welsh international Tom Bradshaw has emerged as a potential target with the Millwall striker linked with an exit away from the Championship club this summer.

Neil Harris offers update on Tom Bradshaw transfer stance

The Millwall striker is in demand after an impressive record at the club. The Welsh forward has scored 42 goals in 183 games for the Championship side.

Millwall manager Neil Harris is keen to keep hold of the striker, though, and has offered an update on the potential exit.

Speaking to South London Press, Harris said: “You [SLP] articulated a really good piece last week on Tom – how much he loves the club and how much he’d like to extend his stay here with his family settled in the area.

“Then, 48 hours later, someone puts it out that Tom Bradshaw has been linked with various clubs. I did read that and have a little chuckle to myself.

“He [Bradshaw] is an infectious character. He gives a real energy and buzz around the place.

“I’ve really enjoyed coming back and working with Tom because he has developed so much as a character and a player since I signed him seven years ago.

“His game has slightly changed now. I look forward to continue working with him.

“Tom is with us and a massive part of the plans moving forward.”

Tom Bradshaw signing would cause Wrexham departure

Wrexham manager Parkinson is keen to add depth to his squad this summer, but the former Sunderland boss has many options in the striking department.

He already has key players like Mullin, Ollie Palmer, and Steven Fletcher, with January signing Jack Marriot and Sam Dalby also available for selection.

If Bradshaw arrives at the Racecourse a forward would likely be sold.

However, with Mullin’s latest injury, Parkinson may want to keep the extra depth for rotation.

If a forward does depart, Sam Dalby could be the obvious candidate with the forward only scoring one goal in 31 League Two fixtures last campaign.

Bradshaw would bring Championship experience and offer real quality to Wrexham’s attack.

With the step up in difficulty in League One, Parkinson may feel he needs to upgrade his striking options and the Millwall attacker would be a great option to bring to North Wales.
