Shaun Harvey’s Wrexham prediction could come true

Speaking on season 3 episode 8 of the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary director Shaun Harvey made a bold prediction about the club following promotion from League Two.

Harvey stated: “The one thing you can’t buy is momentum, we’ve got positivity on our side, we’ve got everybody believing we can be successful.”

The former Leeds United and Bradford City employee went on to give his verdict about the Red Dragons in League One and he could be set to be proved right with the club’s current trajectory.

Harvey predicted: “Can we go back to back to back? Yes we can.”

What Humphrey Ker said about Harvey upon being appointed director at Wrexham

Harvey was appointed director at the club back in December 2023 after having previously been in an advisory to the board role.

He was seen in the TV documentary as someone that owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney leaned on heavily for guidance and community director Humphrey Ker was full of praise for Harvey after his appointment.

As per BBC Sport, Ker stated: “Shaun has been at the heart of everything the club has achieved since the takeover. His elevation to the board is both a recognition of his contributions and a formalisation of the role he has fulfilled for the last few years.”
