Wrexham and Birmingham City are set to battle it out in the Championship this Friday night as both teams look to build on midweek draws.
The Blues will be disappointed they had to rescue a draw against Sheffield Wednesday in stoppage time, as pressure seems to be growing on manager Chris Davies.
Meanwhile, Phil Parkinson’s side managed to earn a draw against Leicester City, coming from behind to secure the result through a Nathan Broadhead goal, with the boss being impressed by the Wrexham players’ performance.
One player that shone in the game will certainly have a part to play in the clash this weekend in the ‘Hollywood Derby’, with the star previously being a transfer target for Tom Brady’s club.

Lewis O’Brien could play a pivotal role in the Wrexham and Birmingham City clash
Lewis O’Brien was one of the 13 summer signings that made their way to the Racecourse Ground this summer, with the midfielder costing the club £5 million in a deal with Nottingham Forest.
Birmingham City had been linked to O’Brien during the transfer window, but the Welsh club would beat the Blues to his signature.
He has turned out to be one of the most important signings they made, as Wrexham spent £33 million to bring Championship quality to the team.
In the last two games alone, he has had decisive moments, as he scored the goal in the 1-1 draw with Derby County before providing the assist for the Red Dragons in their 1-1 tie with Leicester City.
The 26-year-old has already equalled his best goals tally in the Championship in the space of seven games under Phil Parkinson, and he will be hopeful he can add to it against Birmingham on Friday night, and if he can’t, he will hope he will play an important part in a victory.

Phil Parkinson believes Lewis O’Brien is a player full of quality
Phil Parkinson is a big fan of Lewis O’Brien, having spoken about the player after the Derby County draw at the weekend.

His goal against Derby was arguably his best yet: after some nice link up play in midfield, Issa Kabore crossed into O’Brien who neatly headed home. Speaking after the game, Parkinson admitted it was a great goal, also admitting that he thinks the 26-year-old O’Brien is a quality player.
Parkinson said of O’Brien: “He’s a superb player, isn’t he? All round, with and without the ball. The goal is a high quality goal, it really is. It was a brilliant bit of combination play, and another one for him, that’s three for the season.”
