Wrexham need a positive performance and a result to match as they travel to Millwall in their latest Championship clash.
Phil Parkinson is ‘managing’ Kieffer Moore before the international break with the in-form striker suffering with an ankle problem sustained on the opening day of the season.
Moore has been an integral player for Wrexham so far this season and will be needed against a strong Millwall outfit.
However, Alex Neil’s side have suffered a blow before the Championship clash and Parkinson will see it as an opportunity for the Red Dragons to pounce.

Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic subject to transfer bid from Parma
According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic is subject to a transfer bid from Serie A side Parma ahead of the clash at The Den.
The 20-year-old scored 12 goals in the Championship last season and has already produced an assist for his side in the opening three matches of this campaign.
It remains to be seen whether Ivanovic will play against Parkinson’s side but his absence would be a huge relief to the Wrexham defence.
The likes of Conor Coady and Max Cleworth would have been in for a tough afternoon up against the power and strength of the young Serbian.
Parkinson has a selection dilemma of his own at left centre-back as to whether to keep Lewis Brunt in the side or hand a league debut to Callum Doyle.
Either way, their afternoon will be much smoother should the transfer speculation cause Millwall to leave Ivanovic out of the side.
Alex Neil believes Mihailo Ivanovic is among the top talents in Europe
Speaking to Southwark News back in April, Millwall boss Neil stated his belief that Ivanovic is among the best young talents in Europe.
Neil explained: “Any twenty-year-old that leads the line in the Championship and he’ll get double figures before the end of the season – if you do that, that’s an unbelievable season and it won’t be surprising me if people start talking about him.
| Mihailo Ivanovic’s Championship record last season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Ivanovic | 37 | 12 | 0 |
“I think there’s already something I’ve seen the other day about top ten young talents in Europe. He’s one of them. He’s 20 years of age. There’s very, very few strikers at that age that’ll lead the line at this level and also score goals. He deserves all the plaudits he deserves.”
Even if Ivanovic does miss out, Wrexham will still need to be aware of other exceptional attacking talents that Millwall possess.
With two wins from their opening three games, the likes of Joshua Coburn and Luke Cundle will be ready to step up in the striker’s absence and Parkinson’s side will have to improve their recent defensive record.
