Wrexham have seen plenty of players depart the club already and there are still a couple more who Phil Parkinson should consider offloading.
Wrexham have started planning for their first campaign in League One in almost 20 years.
The Reds are currently focused on offloading individuals they don’t see playing a part in their project moving forward, having waved goodbye to nine first-team players, including Ben Tozer, Aaron Hayden and Luke Young.
Phil Parkinson needed to release those he didn’t deem good enough as he eyes up quality replacements, with Brighton midfielder Marc Leonard said to be on their shortlist.
Nonetheless, Wrexham’s departures may not end there with at least three more potentially departing the Racecourse Ground.
Here are three more players who could leave this summer…
Anthony Forde
A winger turned wing-back, Anthony Forde played 31 times in the National League as Wrexham sealed a record-breaking promotion.
Forde’s involvement continued in League Two, with the 30-year-old featuring in 14 of their first 26 matches.
Sadly, an injury in January and the arrival of Luke Bolton from Salford City has since restricted his involvement and as Wrexham embark on a campaign in League One, the former Wolves man is unlikely to play his part.
Parkinson rotated between Ryan Barnett and Bolton in the second half of the campaign. Forde isn’t an upgrade on either of those players, so it’s difficult to see where he fits in.
With his contract expiring in 2025, Wrexham may choose to offload him this summer if a suitable offer comes in.

Billy Waters
Wrexham signed experienced forward Billy Waters from Barrow in March 2023.
The 29-year-old was supposed to act as competition for Paul Mullin but he only made one appearance in the National League, appearing for 23 minutes in the final game against Torquay United.
Ironically, Mullin’s injury in pre-season, which saw him miss the first eight games in League Two, opened up the door for Waters to start against MK Dons on the opening day.
That would be the only time he’d feature in a starting XI for Wrexham before being shipped out on loan to Doncaster Rovers in January.
His miserable run of form continued in South Yorkshire, making just four starts and scoring zero as Grant McCann’s side gatecrashed the play-offs.
Waters is one player who Wrexham should look to offload this summer; there’s too much competition for a starting spot, his contract expires next year and he isn’t good enough for the third tier.
Jake Bickerstaff
Jake Bickerstaff came through the academy at the same time as star defender Max Cleworth.
The 22-year-old impressed Parkinson in the early stages of the 2023/24 campaign, scoring goals in the 4-2 win over Walsall and 5-5 draw against Stockport County.
Bickerstaff benefitted from Mullin’s spell on the sidelines but once the goal machine returned, the youngster’s opportunities were restricted, appearing for just 17 minutes before being sent out on loan to Accrington Stanley in January.
Sadly, the target man failed to make a strong impression on loan, netting just once in 10 League Two outings.
There are question marks over whether he’s good enough for the third tier and that will be a concern for Parkinson, which is why he should loan him out or sell him this summer. That is despite the Wrexham boss previously describing him as a “clinical finisher”.
