Wrexham had been struggling in the Championship prior to their fixture with Norwich City, when they won 3-2, giving them their second league win of the campaign.
This was the beginning of their four-game unbeaten run in the second tier, with three of these being draws.
While it may be disappointing, they have not been able to secure wins, with a worrying stat emerging for Wrexham; the performances will have been a positive to take for Phil Parkinson.
Parkinson has singled George Dobson’s form out for being fantastic, and he will hope this continues; however, there appears to be one Red Dragons star that has gone under the radar.
Dominic Hyam’s addition to the squad steadied the defence
Dominic Hyam was a late addition to the Welsh squad in the summer, joining just before the deadline; however, he has been an inspired signing.
While Hyam was not selected by Scotland, and he will be disappointed not to be part of their next World Cup qualifying fixtures, this may inspire his form to improve even more.
He has been at the heart of a back three providing Championship quality he has demonstrated for the past few seasons at both Blackburn Rovers and Coventry City.

The defender did not make one tackle during the Birmingham City game; however, he was in the right place to cut out danger, and he had the most clearances in the game, demonstrating his ability to read the game, according to Opta.
His calming presence and leadership cannot be overstated, as this has seemingly allowed the defence to look more assured despite still conceding goals in each of his four appearances, with Hyam surely determined to keep a clean sheet with his new club.
Dominic Hyam was key to John Eustace’s impressive Blackburn Rovers
The Scottish international was a key part of the defensive unit at Blackburn Rovers that was able to shut out so many defences and got the Lancashire club competing for the play-offs.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, John Eustace spoke about the now Wrexham player after he impressed against Leeds United while having a poor game at Bristol City.

He said: “It is about the team, the togetherness which I keep pushing. There will be some good times and bad times, and to get through it, you have to stick together.
“Our back five was outstanding. Dom was never coming out of the team; he has been magnificent since I have been at the football club.
“He had a bad game; it happens. We don’t get carried away with it; he played (at Leeds) and was top drawer.”
