Wrexham clashed with Sheffield Wednesday in their latest Championship fixture.
Phil Parkinson made two changes from the defeat at home to West Brom as Nathan Broadhead and Ryan Longman replaced Ryan Barnett and the injured Josh Windass.
Kieffer Moore’s first half brace put the Red Dragons into a commanding position in search of their first three points of the season.
As the game ticked towards half time, a huge moment occurred for Parkinson’s side in the 42nd minute involving new signing Lewis O’Brien.

Lewis O’Brien demonstrates Wrexham’s new corner routine
Wrexham began to dominate the game the further the first half went on and were particularly enjoying success down the right flank with Longman giving the full back a torrid time.
It was Longman who won a corner in the 42nd minute and as O’Brien stood over the ball, he made a gesture into the box towards striker Moore.
He waved his hands in front of his legs in a signal as to where the ball was going to be delivered, the subsequent corner found Moore unmarked at the back post.
Unfortunately for Wrexham, Moore’s header was saved by the goalkeeper before being scrambled away, but it almost brought a third before half time and the Wales international’s hat-trick.
Phil Parkinson will be pleased to see Wrexham’s new signing beginning to gel
With ten summer signings so far, it will inevitably take time for Wrexham’s new signings to settle in and gel together as a team.
What will please Parkinson the most is that his efforts and hard work on the training ground are being listened to and followed by his players.

The set-piece routine almost brought success too and it will be these fine margins that could help the Red Dragons progress up the Championship table.
Parkinson still wants to add to his squad in the final few days of the transfer window, Wrexham are chasing midfielder Jordan James from French outfit Stade Rennais.
We may not see the best of the Red Dragons until further into the season, but Parkinson will enjoy seeing the shoots of cohesion during the clash against Sheffield Wednesday.
